Introduction

KeeperFill is Keeper Security's browser extension designed to securely autofill your login credentials, passwords, and other private information on websites. By integrating KeeperFill with Google Chrome, users can enhance their online security and streamline the login process.

Requirements

  • Google Chrome browser installed on your device.
  • An active Keeper Security/Keeper Password Manager account.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Access the Chrome Web Store

  • Open your Chrome browser.
  • Navigate to the Chrome Web Store by going to KeeperFill Chrome Extension.

Add the Extension to Chrome

  • On the extension's page, click the "Add to Chrome" button
  • A confirmation dialog will appear; click "Add extension" to proceed.

Pin the KeeperFill Extension for Easy Access:

  • After installation, click on the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) located at the top-right corner of the Chrome toolbar.
  • Find "Keeper Password Manager" in the dropdown list.
  • Click the pin icon next to it to ensure the Keeper icon is always visible on the toolbar.

Enable KeeperFill on All Sites:

  • Right-click the Keeper icon in the toolbar.
  • Select “This can read and change site data.”
  • Choose "On all sites" to grant the extension necessary permissions.

Disable Chrome's Built-in Password Manager:

  • Type chrome://password-manager/settings into the Chrome address bar and press Enter.
  • Make sure that all autofill features are disabled to prevent conflicts between Chrome's password manager and KeeperFill.

Sign in with your Keeper Security Account:

  • Click the Keeper Password Manager icon.
  • Enter your email address, click next.
  • If you have 2FA enabled, use your authenticator app to get the one-time passcode.
  • Enter your master password.
