Setting Up the Wildix Mobile App
PURPOSE
This document describes how to download and configure the Wildix mobile application on both Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store).
SCOPE
All staff who need to use the Wildix mobile app for VoIP calling, voicemail access, chat, and other collaboration features.
PROCEDURE
1. Downloading the Wildix Mobile App

Android Users:
- Open the Google Play Store on your phone.
- Search for “Wildix”.
- Tap Install.

iOS Users:
- Open the Apple App Store on your iPhone/iPad.
- Search for “Wildix”.
- Tap Get or Install.
2. Launching the App and Logging In
- Open the Wildix App: Find the Wildix icon on your home screen and tap to launch.
- Enter Your Domain: Type in your company’s Wildix domain or server address (e.g., example.wildixin.com).
- Enter Username: Use the username provided by IT or your supervisor (often your email address or a designated username).
- Enter Password: Use the password associated with your Wildix account.
- Tap “Log In” or “Sign In”: The app will attempt to connect and authenticate.
3. Grant Necessary Permissions
- Microphone and Camera: When prompted, allow the Wildix app to access your microphone for calls and your camera for video calls.
- Notifications: Enable notifications to receive call alerts, chat messages, and voicemail notifications in real time.
4. Verifying Setup
- Successful Login: You should see the main Wildix interface with tabs for Calls, History, Contacts, Voicemail, etc.
- Test a Call: Place a quick test call to confirm audio quality and connectivity.
- Check Voicemail: Tap the Voicemail icon (if applicable) to confirm messages are accessible.
