Purpose

This guide covers personal settings in Wildix Collaboration 7: uploading a profile photo, setting your availability status, configuring call forwarding and ring options, and selecting your audio and video devices.

Scope

Applies to all employees using Wildix Collaboration 7 on a computer (browser or desktop app). To access Settings, click your profile icon or avatar in the top-right corner of the Collaboration 7 interface and select Settings.

Procedure

Upload Profile Photo

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-left corner.
  2. Clikc your name “Profile details”
  3. In the Profile section, click on your current avatar or the camera icon.
  4. Select a photo from your computer. Supported formats: JPG, PNG.
  5. Crop or adjust the image as needed, then click Save.

Set Availability Status

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-left corner.
  2. Click the status indicator (Available, Away, Busy).
  3. Select your availability:
    1. Available — green. You are reachable and accepting calls.
    2. Away — yellow. You are temporarily unavailable (e.g., in a meeting or away from your desk).
    3. Busy — red. You are on a call or do not want to be interrupted. Incoming calls may route to voicemail.
  4. Optionally, type a short status message (e.g., "In a meeting until 3pm") in the text field.
  5. Click Save or press Enter to apply.

Call Settings

Use Call Settings to configure forwarding, ring timeout, and ringtone.

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-left corner
  2. Select Calls option.
  3. Select Internal or External call type you wish to configure.
  4. To enable call forwarding, toggle on "Call Forward All" and enter the number or extension you want calls forwarded to.
  5. To change the ring timeout (how long your phone rings before going to voicemail), adjust the "Ring for" value in seconds.
  6. To set a custom ringtone, select an option from the Ringtone dropdown.
  7. Click Save to apply your changes.

Audio and Video

Set your preferred microphone, speakers, and camera for calls.

  1. Go to Settings and select the Audio & Video tab.
  2. Under Microphone, select your preferred input device from the dropdown.
  3. Under Speakers, select your preferred output device.
  4. Under Camera, select your preferred video device for video calls.
  5. Use the test buttons to verify your microphone and speakers are working.
  6. Click Save.

Note: If you are using a headset, plug it in before opening Settings. Devices connected after the app opens may not appear until you refresh the page or reopen Settings.
